It seems that toy animals are more popular than ever this year. But this year, all the toy animals offer something a bit extra. They move, walk, bark or purr. See the Fluffy Go Walkies dogs and FurReal cats for example.

As for dolls, of course dolls prams are popular as ever this year (we would say that, of course) but the new Baby Annabell Version 5 will also be a major hit this Christmas, and if you are thinking of buying a doll for a little girl, it has to be the Baby Annabell Version 5. Plus Barbie is back in her new Barbie Video Girl format. This is an amazing combination of a Barbie doll, complete with fully working video camera. Obviously anything to do with Barbie will be a big hit with a little girl this Christmas, but a doll and video camera is something truly unique.

Then there are the amazing Liv Dolls, which come in such a wide variety they are instantly collectable. And although not a typical doll, the Toy Story 3 Talking Woody dolls are bound to be hugely popular after the success of the film. If you know a youngster who loved Toy Story 3, then they are sure to love a Talking Woody doll.

All girls love High School Musical, and the dance mat shown above is probably the most enjoyed of all High School Musical toys (and there's a LOT!).
